It costs almost £15m a year to run Battersea’s three centres in south London, at Brands Hatch in Kent and Old Windsor in Berkshire, and they receive no Government funding for their animal welfare work – they exist purely through the generosity of people just like you.So dust off those trainers and sign up for one of their runs today! Bupa London 10,000 The Bupa London 10,000 is a fantastic run that will take you right through the heart of London. Beginning on the north face of Green Park, the run heads straight for the river, along which you will make your way until you reach the impressive sites of the City of London. The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon – 7th October The Royal Parks Half Marathon is a beautifully scenic run set in London’s four royal parks - Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St James’ Park and The Green Park. Taking place in October, this will be a truly autumnal event. However, if falling leaves aren’t quite enough for you, runners will also get a chance to see some of London’s most iconic landmarks, such as Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament and the Royal Albert Hall.
