Hello! I just wanted to introduce myself - I guess I'm still a newish runner (coming up on one year!), but I am certainly new to the site. I've recently done a (very slow!) half-marathon and about to start marathon training for the Vienna City marathon in April next year. Very exciting! Apart from that I'm a full time PhD student and mum to a beautiful one-year-old girl, I'm also yet-another-Aussie-in-London. So, hello! Neon.

Hi, Well you are way ahead of me.... I'm training for my first half marathon in March. I've been running for 2 and a half years but have only recently tried to improve my pace and got interested in racing. Hmmmm, depending on how this goes, I might look at an Autumn marathon (can't believe I'm even considering one... but it's definitely there at the back of my mind!). It's probably the madness of age... I'm definitely classed as over 50 now but in my head I'm still in my twenties and am keen to be a proper runner when I grow up.

Hi, I'm new to WR. Did my first half marathon this year and have a place in the VLM next year. Totally let my training go after half so scared about getting my fitness back in 4 months! Hi guys! Ashleigh.
