Malta marathon competition

WIN! A place in the Malta Marathon!

www.sportstoursinternational.co.ukEnter our competition, and you and a friend could win a three-day trip to Malta for the race of a lifetime
Malta Comp
Been inspired by the Virgin London marathon? If seeing those thousands of competitors back in April give their all as they ran, jogged, wheeled or walked their way around the streets of London has made you determined to run your own long-distance race you could be in luck. Women’s Running has teamed up with Sports Tours International to offer one lucky reader and a friend the chance to travel to Malta to take part in the 2011 half or full marathon. Now in its 26th year, the Malta Marathon has become increasingly popular, but it’s still small enough to retain a friendly atmosphere, so if you’re daunted by crowds, Malta is an ideal first race as numbers are just 1,500, with participants pretty evenly split between locals and foreign visitors.Good news is, much of the route is downhill. Starting at 200m outside the bastions of Malta’s old capital Mdina, it passes by the famous town of Mosta before reaching the waterside to the finish on the scenic front of Sliema. Apart from race entry, the lucky winner will also enjoy a three-night stay in a hotel on a room-only basis, direct flights from London, transfers between Malta airport and the hotel, and guaranteed race entry.

For your chance to win this fantastic prize, simply answer this question:

Question: What is the name of the old capital city of Malta?
