Madonna inspires a healthy lifestyle with Hard Candy Fitness
She started running in the late 1980s and has long been a pioneer of keeping fit and a healthy lifestyle... so congratulations to pop icon Madonna on the opening of her first health club, Hard Candy Fitness.

Madonna attended the launch herself and even took part in a fitness class with the gym’s new members. ‘It’s a sexy name that gives you the opportunity to have fun and build strength as far as the imagination will allow,’ she says of the gym’s name. The first Hard Candy Fitness centre is a 30,000 square-foot facility offering a range of classes, including Zumba, Latin Moves, Cardio Kickboxing, as well as a bike studio and climbing wall. There’s also a TRX suspension training facility.Madonna teamed up with her manager; Guy Oseary and Mark Matrov, innovator behind the successful global chain 24 Hour Fitness for her new venture. The first Hard Candy Fitness Centre took three years to develop and further gyms will open throughout Europe and Asia.Over the years Madonna has regularly been spotted running in key locations including London’s Hyde Park and New York’s Central Park.
