Blitz your body with completely free high-tempo workouts from Nike Training Club in parks around London this summer. In pursuit of the elusive Beyoncé booty, Rhalou heads out to Regent's Park to work her butt off in the sunshine.
Nike officially launched its first series of free Nike Training Club Outdoor classes throughout London this week. The ultimate all body workout, their classes are designed specifically for women to get fit for free while enjoying the sunshine, so I popped to Regent’s Park last Thursday for my first outdoor training session.Similar to boot camp, our group of twenty odd girls skipped around the park doing various exercises under the instruction of two badass Nike masters. The classes focus on five fundamental components of sport and fitness: Strength, Cardio, Core, Balance and Flexibility. For the most part I coped quite well, but as a runner I don’t pay much attention to my upper body, so when it came to plank time, I came close to crying (happy tears, honest) and left feeling like I’d definitely had a good workout. Five days later and I’m still aware of my stomach muscles when I laugh too hard, which I’ll take as a sign that I’m one step closer to flat abs and a booty like Beyoncé!Nike Training Club (NTC) Outdoors is the latest extension of the NTC programme, which includes the NTC App, free weekly classes at Niketown London and sessions at both Gymbox and Third Space gyms. Totally free of charge, NTC Outdoors provides an easy, fun and convenient alternative to gym memberships and personal trainers. 
The idea is that participants will work harder than they would on their own through team motivation, camaraderie and constantly varied training classes each week. And if you’re shy about sweating it out in public, don’t be. I was so busy trying not to fall over/die that I didn’t even notice the other people in the park.Entry to NTC Outdoor classes is quick and simple.
