Six women, six marathons, six inspiring stories… It’s time to welcome our Project 26.2 winners!
Back in our December issue, we launched a competition to help six readers achieve their goal of running a spring marathon. The brilliant prize on offer? Expert coaching from our coaching editor Phoebe Thomas, co-founder of runningwithus, injury-prevention advice from Physio&Therapy, gait analysis and footwear fitting with Up & Running, physiotherapy head-to-toe apparel from Saucony, a state-of-the-art Garmin Forerunner 610, and all the nutrition products you could need to power your across the finish line of a marathon, courtesy of High5.

Hundreds of you applied to win one of the coveted spots. You inspired and moved us with your reasons for wanting to tackle magical 26.2 miles, and sifting through the entries we were struck by your enthusiasm, determination and dedication to running. But there could only be six winners. And here they are. Each month, we’ll keep you up to date with their progress, and you can also check out their blogs.
Here come the girls…
